The Undergraduate Journal of Law, Justice & Culture is a student-led publication at Ohio University, affiliated with the Center for Law, Justice & Culture. Open to students from all majors, the UJLJC is a space to publish work semesterly, join an editorial team, and build skills in legal writing, critical thinking, and research. 


For students planning to attend law school, the UJLJC offers a great opportunity to develop legal writing and research skills that will be highly valuable for your time as a law student. For those who are not planning to attend law school, the UJLJC offers the chance to build editing, writing, and critical thinking skills that are valuable in careers such as journalism, politics, and beyond.

What is the time commitment?

Time commitments vary depending on your role and level of involvement. Every member is expected to dedicate one hour a week to the journal outside of our weekly hour-long meetings.
